Visiting Portland's Audubon Sanctuary

A few weekends ago we visited this cool 150-acre wildlife sanctuary which is only 5-minutes away from downtown Portland. Like it says on their website, it is one well-kept secret. There was hardly anyone there and we got to experience up close hawks, ravens, owls and falcons. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos of the birds, but we all had fun (including Molly) taking turns with the camera as we walked on peaceful trails through the sanctuary. Even I had a few photos taken of me.

  1. We went there last year! Did you see Julio/Julia... the owl they thought was male... and later figured out was female?

  2. We DID see an owl, but didn't catch his/her name. Great place, isn't it?!
